Meeting minutes · macOS · coming soon

Your meeting,
on paper.

Meetpaper records the call on your Mac, transcribes it locally in 99 languages with Whisper, and hands you the minutes: decisions, owners, dates. Nothing leaves your Mac unless you say so.

Why Meetpaper

The meeting ends.
The minutes are ready.

What you keep from a meeting is not a recording. It is the decisions, who owns them, and by when.

01

On-device by default

Recording, transcription and speaker separation run on your Mac. Models download once and work offline. Your keys live in the macOS Keychain. Cloud is a choice you make per feature, never a default.

02

No bot in the call

Meetpaper listens to your microphone and system audio, so it works in Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or any call in the browser. Nobody sees an assistant join, and nothing changes for the people you talk to.

03

Minutes, not just a transcript

After the meeting you get a short overview, minutes with decisions, owners and due dates, and agreements you can add to your calendar in one click. Open questions are marked, not guessed.

Whisper runs on your Mac, so every language works offline. Accuracy varies by language and audio quality.

Speech recognition is powered by OpenAI Whisper running on Apple silicon through MLX. Speakers are separated on your Mac as well. Meetpaper does not promise perfect transcripts: it gives you the audio, the timestamps and an editor, so you can check any line against what was actually said.

How it works

Three steps from a call to the minutes

One conversation becomes a record you can return to and verify.

01

Start recording

Press Record, or answer the notification when a call seems to start. Meetpaper captures your microphone and system audio. A dropped network or headset does not stop the recording: audio is kept, and transcription can be repeated.

02

Get the transcript

Speech is transcribed on your Mac and split by speaker. Every line has a timestamp, plays back from the recording, and can be edited.

03

Take the minutes

An overview, minutes with decisions, owners and due dates, and calendar events for what was agreed. Export to Markdown, PDF or DOCX, or share by email.
